SHAFAQNA (Shia News Association)— Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani said that the Iranian parliament is ready to pass laws supporting enhancement of ties with Iraq in all areas.

Larijani made the remarks in a meeting with the visiting head of Iraqi Parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee Humam al-Hamoudi in Tehran on Thursday.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to render any help to stabilize tranquility, progress and development of Iraq,” he added.

Referring to the regional developments, particularly the Syria’s situation, Larijani said that any attempt for putting an end to Syria’s crisis takes place within a regional cooperation framework and it is based on people’s will in determining their fate.
