Saudi Wahhabi authorities arrest the Shia cleric Sheikh Hosham al Khoneizi

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) — On 18 June 2012, the Saudi Wahhabi security forces arrested the Shiite cleric Shaikh Hosham Abdul Wahid al-Khoneizi, 45  years, from Qal'a district in Qatif city.

Shaikh Hosham al-Khoneizi was immediately arrested by the police at Al-Dammam Airport as he arrived from Iran.

Shaikh al-Khoneizi had suffered health problems since his residence in Iran as he has been studying in religious Hawzat in the Iranian city of Qom .

Al-Khoneizi was transferred to the prison of General Intelligence Al-Mabahith Al-'Aamma of al-Dammam without clarifying reasons behind the arrest .

On the other hand a security force arrested the Shiite youngster Mohammad Hassan al-Nemer from Awwamiyah town in Qatif.

Mohammad al-Nemer was transferred to unknown location. His family has no information about him.

Another security force tried to arrest the youngster Mohammad Hassan Al Zayed from Awwamiyah town in Qatif, but he could to escape. —www.shafaqna.com/english/
