"Israeli" soldiers arrest mother of liberated prisoner

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) — «Israeli» occupation forces (IOF) arrested the mother of a Palestinian prisoner from Rahet in Negev on Thursday, human rights sources said.

They said that the soldiers stormed the home of Najah Al-Ateeli, 49, the mother of liberated prisoner Abeer Odeh, who was released in the Wafa Al-Ahrar deal.

They quoted Odeh as saying that her mother was suffering a number of health problems, and warned of possible deterioration in her health condition as a result of her detention.

Ateeli, who is originally from Tulkarem in the West Bank, is married to a man from Negev and is the mother of seven liberated prisoners. —www.shafaqna.com/english
