ISESCO to honor 1st winner of Int'l Quran competition

SHAFAQNA (Shia  News Association) — The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) will hold a ceremony at its permanent headquarters in Rabat, on Wednesday 5 Ramadan 1433 (25 July 2012), morning, to honor Moroccan Hasna Khoulali, winner of the international Quran recitation competition which was recently organized in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, ISESCO Director General, will preside over this ceremony in honor of Hasna Khoulali and will offer her ISESCO's medal and an appreciation certificate in recognition of her outstanding achievement.
It is worth mentioning that ISESCO devotes special care to the memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran as well as to Quranic schools by developing their working methods and training their teachers in Member States and among Muslims outside the Islamic world.
