Senior Shia cleric: Saudi officials should respect Shia people’s right

SHAFAQNA (Shia News Association) — The Islamic Jurisprudent, Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi urged Saudi officials to respect Saudi people and forbear to punish people because of what they believe in.

Ayatollah pointed to the wave of Islamic Awakening which pervades much of the Islamic World and underlined this wave reached to Saudi Arabia making Muslims demand their rights back.

He urged Saudi officials to consider Shia people’s right and refrain from bothering them.

It is worth to noting that Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi earlier urged all Muslims not to capitulate to the wants of the despotic regimes as underscored Muslims should not get despondent in this way.

Meanwhile the grand Ayatollah call on Muslims, from different denominations, to keep their unity and proximity eschewing showdown over minor issues.
