Ayatollah Seyyed Mofidi: Leader’s anti-nuke fatwa guarantees Iran peaceful means

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) — Shia  cleric lauded fatwa by the Supreme Leader as a guarantee for the western countries calling that an end for all ambiguities in the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities.

Ayatollah Seyyed Kazem Nour Mofidi, Representative of the Supreme Leader in the Northern Province of Golestan, in his Friday prayer sermon referred to approval of Iran’s nuclear rights by P5+1 calling that a token for the change in stances of the group regarding Iran, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Shia cleric said the anti-nuke fatwa issued by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, is approved by several other jurisprudents and that is the biggest guarantee for the western countries.

Friday prayer leader of Golestan Province stressed 20 percent uranium enrichment as a certain right of the Islamic Republic of Iran and said Iranian authorities will never submit to the west’s efforts to deprive Iran of its rights.

Ayatollah Nour Mofidi also noted anti-Iran sanctions have no effect on Iranian nation and said, “Anti-Iran threats and sanctions during the past 30 years have paved the way for development of our country in different areas.”

“Enemies are quite aware that Iran is not seeking nuclear weapons but since they are against any development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, they hinder Iran’s way towards success.” the religious figure said.

Shia cleric referred to the Moscow upcoming talks between Iran and P5+1 and called that the only way for Obama to win his rival in the country’s Presidential election. — www.shafaqna.com
