ASO President injured in terrorist attack in Tando Jam University

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) — Asgharia Students Organisation (ASO)’s president was injured due to ruling party’s student’s wing attack on him in University of Agriculture Tando Jam on Tuesday.

Sindh Peoples Students Federation (SPSF) hooligans attacked him and other students. ASO President Muntazir Mehdi was rushed to civil hospital Hyderabad for medical treatment.

Another report said that the attackers belonged to banned terrorist group Sipah-e-Sahaba and enjoyed support from the ruling party’s student wing SPSF. Abdul Rehman Talpur, Khalid Baloch, Amanullah, Hamid Baloch, Murad Baloch, M Muavia were the terrorists who attacked Shia students. They originally belonged to Dera Ghazi Khan.

The unfortunate attack in Sindh’s alma mater must be a moment of concern for the ruling party. Shia Muslims have been made unsafe in the society and now they are made targets in the universities. The government and ruling party should take notice of the incident. — www.shafaqna.com
