2 terrorist men arrested in holy city of Karbala

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) — Two wanted men, belong to a terrorist group, were arrested on Friday in Karbala, for their involvement in the recent bombings in the city, local police official said.

"Security forces arrested two wanted men in accordance with Article IV Terrorism Law, using intelligence information," Colonel Ahmad Mohammad al-Hasnawi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency, noting that the operation was launched in cooperation between Karbala and Babel police.

"They are accused of being involved in bombing a car bomb in Karbala a few months ago, during which scores were killed or wounded. —www.www.shafaqna.com
