SHAFAQNA (Shia News Association) – 4th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions is about to take place in Astana in 2012.
In this conference, Head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Muhammad Ali Taskhiri will deliver a speech on “woman’s place and her social role”.
The 4th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions will take place on May 30-31, 2012. XI session of the Secretariat of the Congress will be held on May 28-29, 2012.
The subject «Peace and accord as a choice of humankind» was chosen as the main theme of IV Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
‘The Role of Religious Leaders in Achieving Sustainable Development’, ‘Religion and Multiculturalism’, ‘Religion and the Woman: Spiritual Values and Contemporary Challenges’, ‘Religion and the Youth’ are some of topics discussed in the conference.
