SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – An Internet video about social issues in Saudi Arabia land the uploaders in prison, because they dared to speak about poverty. Of course, saying other than that Saudi Arabia is a country where there are no problems is a punishable offence. Talking about any problems that may suggest poor governance is a major crime against the state.

The Saudi government has not only imprisoned and silenced the activists, but strangely hijacked their logo and website and posted its own alternative with the views deemed correct by the government. It is important to mention that the owners of the blog cannot complain because they have been imprisoned and have in fact not accessed their blogs for months after being silenced.
