Book on Ayatollah Al-Sistani's medical therapeutic journey to London released

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) - A book by the title of “Medical Therapeutic Journey of Sayyed Al-Sistani and the Najaf Crisis in 2004” has been published in Beirut.

Written by Ayatollah Al-Sistani’s representative Hamed Al-Khafaf, the book talks about the scholar’s medical journey in London in 2004. At that time, the Najaf crisis also took place with confrontation between Al-Mahdi Army and the American occupational forces near Imam Ali’s holy shrine.

The book is a result of diaries written by the author who accompanied Ayatollah Al-Sistani during his journey to London.
