Introducing a Shia organization: The MYM

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – The MYM (Muslim Youth of Montreal) plans and implements various activities that range from organizing discussions and inviting guest speakers, to hosting sports tournaments (real and on console) and winter activities, all the way to organizing summer camps and trips to various parks. These activities are anchored by the weekly Friday program where the youth gather in the MYM lounge for discussions and entertainment.  Overall, these activities aim at enriching the youth intellectually, spiritually and physically.

Being a Shia organization run by the youth, the MYM is driven by accommodating the youth’s needs, wants and interests. As such, it welcomes and encourages your new ideas that allow us to better serve you. Finally, most of our programs are open to both genders, and you are encouraged to follow us on our various pages and get in touch with the VPs for more information.
